The scholarships below are available to qualifying members of the EASL 3616.Â
Education Association of St. Lucie
Scholarships
To support the families of public school educators and support staff, four scholarships of $500 each will be awarded to St. Lucie Public School Graduates who plan to attend a 2- or 4- year institution of higher education in the major of their choice. Only applicants whose parent(s) or legal guardian(s) are EASL members in good standing will be considered.

Daniel Hinojosa Memorial
Scholarship
In memory of Daniel Hinojosa, this scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded to a St. Lucie Public Schools graduate who plans to attend a 2- or 4- year institution of higher education in a mental health field of study.  Only applicants whose parent(s) or legal guardian(s) are EASL members in good standing will be considered.

Institution
Must be pursuing a 2- or 4- year college degree
GPA
Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higherÂ

Personal Statement
Write a personal statement of no more than 500 words on one of the provided topics.
Choose One Topic
- Explain a personal experience with mental health concerns and how you will improve your life or the lives of others through education.
- Explain why you are choosing to pursue a career in the mental health field as well as the impact you hope to make with those facing mental health concerns.Â
- Showcase your objective(s) for entering the mental health field.Â
